Working alongside our client Morgan Sindall, we were appointed in March 2020 to carry out a full multi-disciplined Enabling works package. Our scope of works included delivering a fully remediated site, providing the necessary factual verification reports of the works completed. Deep drainage, including a 7m deep connection into a live sewer and in-situ construction of a concrete retaining wall along an existing river bank. The site will ultimately be the host of a 23-storey tower made up of a total of 211 apartments, delivering much needed additional capacity within the city centre.

The site offered many challenges the foremost being widespread contamination of the made ground soils which included the presence of Asbestos. We were pleased to complete this tricky scheme on time and look forward to future projects with Morgan Sindall. A breakdown of our scope of works on site is offered below;
